Interested in a career that uses technology to help businesses work smarter? The computer and information technology field is growing fast — with jobs projected to increase 11% from 2019 to 2029. If you want to help organizations thrive through technology, ÒÁÈËÖ±²¥â€™s Computer Business Information Systems (CBIS) program is a great place to start.
The CBIS program provides the education, training, and technical skills needed to support a company’s information systems department. Students gain a foundation in software applications, networking/helpdesk, information systems security, and database management. Several classes also prepare students for Microsoft certifications.
Graduates can pursue careers such as computer support specialist, office support supervisor, executive secretary, customer service representative, record clerk, or small business webmaster — part of a field expected to add over 531,000 new jobs in the coming years.
