Sound recording and electronic music play an increasingly vital role in our society. 伊人直播鈥檚 sound technology certificate prepares students for careers in live and in-studio sound recording and sound reinforcement, as well as film, television, radio and more. Taught by working professionals on industry-standard equipment, students learn the basic terminology associated with acoustics and sound recording, get hands-on experience participating in sound recording and mix-down sessions, and produce and record their own works of electronic music.
The sound recording certificate can also be valuable preparation for enrolling in an advanced commercial music school.
This program will help you to:

An introduction to the equipment, terminology and procedures of sound engineering. Combines lectures and demonstrations with hands-on use of equipment. Students will have the opportunity to use professional sound recording and processing equipment in various recording and mix-down situations. This course is not open to students who are enrolled in or have received credit for Film 120.
