2026-2027 Elections Packet
Download and complete the 2026-2027 Elections Packet to run for ASBG office. Turn
in your completed packet in at the Student Activities Office located in the Student
Center G 105 no later than 4 p.m. Friday, March 27, 2026.

Elections Schedule-
- Elections will be held between Friday, April 24- Wednesday, April 29, 2026 for the Fall 2026- Spring 2027 ASBG Board of Directors.
- Petitions for ASBG offices for the school year 2026-2027 are currently available in the Student Activities Office in Student Center G-105.
- The deadline for turning in petitions is Friday, March 27, 2026. Petitions will need to be turned in to the Student Activities Office or via email to srobb@hancockcollege.edu no later than 4 p.m. It is recommended that you do not wait until the last minute to turn in your petition. The deadline will be strictly observed.
- A mandatory candidate鈥檚 meeting will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. via Zoom to discuss campaign guidelines and regulations.
- Campaigning will begin on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. and run through Thursday, April 23, 2026. Check the elections code for specific information on rules regarding elections.
- Students vote electronically, with ballots being available through the student portal and will have access to the ballot from Friday, April 24-Wednesday, April 29, 2026. Each student may complete one ballot.

Enroll in Leadership 111: Princ/Prac Student Government
Offered in Fall/Spring: Mondays and Wednesday Time: 11:30 a.m.-1:50 p.m.
By enrolling in Leadership 111, you become involved with the Associated Student Body Government process during the lab section of the class. Leadership 111 is a class designed to build leadership styles and skills. Topics include communication, group dynamics, ethics, planning, motivation, time management, organizational structure and parliamentary procedure. You can enroll in Leadership 111 and apply for a position once you are in the class. In order to apply for an open position, you must complete an application and participate in the interview process.
