office hours throughout the term. These office hours will serve as a conversational
session where attendees bring in their Physics OER needs, requests, and questions.

Resolution 114.04, Developing a Consistent Method for Calculating Student Cost Savings
Resulting from Open Educational Resources Adoption, was adopted at the Academic Senate
for California Community Colleges (ASCCC) Plenary Session in Fall 2025. This resolution
called on the ASCCC to research and develop a standardized method for calculating
the savings associated with OER adoption to be presented for consideration at the
Spring 2026 Plenary Session. Join us to learn about our findings and to share your
views.

This comprehensive training webinar is intended for instructors who plan to use LockDown
Browser and/or Respondus Monitor with online exams in Blackboard, Brightspace, Canvas,
Moodle, and Schoology.
LockDown Browser is a custom browser that prevents digital cheating during an online exam. Respondus Monitor is a companion product for LockDown Browser that deters cheating when students take online exams in non- proctored environments. Students use their own computers with a standard webcam to record assessment sessions.
- The training will cover:
- - How to use LockDown Browser to prevent digital cheating in proctored testing environments
- - How to use Respondus Monitor in non-proctored environments, to protect exam integrity and confirm student identity
- - The student perspective using each application
- - Efficient review of the assessment data collected, including the Review Priority system, timeline, and milestone features
- - Best practices and tips for success with both applications

Join ISKME for an exploration of Accessibility for Open Educational Resources (OER)
with 60 minute Zoom sessions designed to support our community with the processes,
tools, supports, and best practices for creating and remixing openly licensed resources
for accessibility. These introductory sessions will be an opportunity for attendees
to learn more about the , discover OER that support accessibility, and engage in discussions about Accessibility
for OER creation and implementation practices in breakout rooms. The Introduction
to Accessibility for OER Sessions will be repeated in February and March to accommodate
our communities鈥 different time zones and schedules. Please register for the date
and time that works for you below. We look forward to engaging with you and building

Examines inclusive pedagogy and culturally responsive instruction to create learning
environments where every student can thrive. The session begins with an Equity 101
refresher (鈥淲hat does equity look like in practice?鈥) to establish shared understanding
before moving into practical classroom applications. Faculty explore strategies for
managing dual-enrollment, noncredit, and working-adult classrooms, with an emphasis
on cross-age engagement and differentiation. Participants will learn to integrate
AI-supported inclusion tools such as translation technologies, Universal Design for
Learning (UDL) applications, and assistive technologies to enhance accessibility.
Case studies and disaggregated student data reports will illustrate how inclusive
teaching improves persistence and success.
