TRIO pre-college programs such as GEAR UP, Talent Search, and Upward Bound are designed
to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and support systems needed to succeed
in higher education. A key component of that success is meaningful, ongoing engagement鈥攏ot
only with students, but with their families as well.
This session will examine the challenges programs face in supporting students and families throughout the college readiness process, including barriers to communication, limited access to resources, and difficulties navigating complex program requirements and timelines.
Participants will explore how digital workshops and online tools can help bridge these gaps鈥攄elivering flexible, scalable solutions that strengthen student preparation, promote family involvement, and align with the diverse needs of today鈥檚 learners. One institution will share its approach to implementing these tools, highlighting lessons learned and outcomes achieved.
Join us for a practical and forward-looking discussion on how digital strategies can enhance pre-college programming, improve access, and support long-term student success through stronger engagement with both students and families.
