  • A personal email address (you receive a student email account after registering for a class).
  • A valid mobile phone number for contact information.

You will receive an AHC Welcome email with your AHC student ID and username. Please save them as you will need them to register for classes.

New Users - Instructions for the password:

If you are a new user, you must set up a password.

To set up your password, go to the and click the gold button that says, "New Hancock College Users." The system will prompt you to create a password. Please save it in a safe place, along with your AHC Student ID and username.

Once you log into the portal, you can register for classes online. After you register for classes, a Hancock email address will be created.

  • AHC Hancock email: allan.hancock@my.hancockcollege.edu

Please save it. All Hancock notifications will go to this Hancock email. Check it regularly.


Students can begin searching for their term courses.

  • Please make sure to select the term and click CONTINUE.
  • Click on any of the fields to start the dropdown menu, and to initiate the search, scroll down and click SEARCH.
  • Once you find your class, save the Course Registration Number (CRN). You will use it in Step 3 when registering for classes.

Log onto your  and verify your registration date under "My Registration Date" (available approximately one month before registration opens).

CSCT 8005 - Become a CA Notary Public

  • This class provides new or previously commissioned Notary Publics with the education and skills to pass the state proctored examination, detect fraud, and be successful in a new career. There is a growing need for notaries in the expanding financial, real estate, business, and law professions. Become a valuable employee or own your own business. For new applicants and notaries who need to renew their commissions, this class meets the 6-hour class requirement mandated by law in 2005. Bring a driver's license or photo I.D. card and #2 pencils.

CSCT 8006 - Loan Signing Specialist

  • California's real estate industry needs notaries who would like to become loan document signing specialists. This course familiarizes the student with duties and responsibilities of the loan signing specialist, documents in the loan package, how to manage appointments with buyers, and how to market your business.

CSFT 8000 - Physical Fitness Lab

  • This aerobic exercise and weight training class is offered in a lab setting. It is recommended for those with prior aerobic exercise and weight training experience. One orientation session is required for all students enrolled in the PFL. A student ID is required. Please visit bldg. S if you do not have a Student ID..

CSFT 8005 - Swim Lab

  • This class offers a fun and easy way to increase cardiovascular capacity and muscle tone. Swimming laps can be performed at different intensities as dictated by overall conditioning, age, and physical limitations. One orientation session is required for all students enrolled in the PFL. CSFT 8020 - Yoga for Health

  • Improve overall health, physical performance, and mental sharpness in this yoga class with basic stretching and simple yoga postures. This class provides easy techniques for restoring and relaxing both the mind and body. Students increase flexibility, improve balance and strength, reduce stress and fatigue, and gain endurance. This class is suitable for all levels of fitness and is perfect for a person who wants to start or resume an exercise program. Bring an exercise mat, towel, and water to class. CSFT 8025 - Latin Salsa Dancing

  • This class introduces students to popular Latin salsa dancing. Students learn rhythm pattern, step variations, proper posture and footwork, dance positions, and basic steps to the most popular dances including salsa, cha-cha, rumba, and tango. Learning Latin salsa dances will give students the confidence on the dance floor to attend any dance events!

CSFT 8034 - Beginning Tai Chi Fan

  • Tai Chi Fan exercises are simple, low-impact movements designed to increase flexibility, balance, range of motion, vitality, relaxation, mental focus, strength, and overall well-being. This graceful practice blends the flowing motions of Tai Chi with the elegant use of a traditional Chinese fan. Each student can learn at their own pace in a relaxed, non-competitive atmosphere. These exercises are safe and beneficial for all ages. A Tai Chi fan is required for this course. Students may bring their own fan that meets the course requirements or may purchase one from the instructor on the first day of class for $15.

CSHE 8001 - Fabulous Tea Parties

  • It's become more than an English tradition! Tea parties are regaining popularity in American homes as a means of entertaining in an intimate setting or a formal gathering. In this class, learn how to host traditional and original tea parties by creating tea scones, petit fours, tea sandwiches, fruit curds, and preserves. No previous baking experience necessary. Tea parties are appropriate for bridal and baby showers, birthday parties and fun entertaining.
